Men's Blue Training Spezial Trainers

Rooted in the 1970s handball shoe, adidas' Training Spezial cuts a low-profile shape over a flat rubber sole. Its textile upper laces close to the foot, while the forefoot flexes freely and the sole stays grounded. It runs narrow through the midfoot, measuring 94.9 mm internally. **Product Highlights** * Cordura mesh upper, fabric borrowed from military kit, resists abrasion while staying breathable * Dual-density Repetitor foam midsole, firmer at the heel for a stable base under heavy loads and softer at the forefoot for responsive push-off * Traxion circular-patterned outsole for grip on indoor gym flooring * 10.4 oz in a men's size 10, lighter than the average training shoe in its class **Best For** * Barbell sessions of squats and deadlifts, where a flat base beats a cushioned one * Mixed-modal CrossFit work, moving from heavy lifts to plyometric rounds without changing shoes * Anyone between sizes, as it comes up around half a size small * Heritage-trainer fans who want their gym pair to read as retro streetwear on the walk home
