Give your coats collection an instant upgrade with on-trend additions from Chanel. The variety of styles on offer from Chanel means there is something for everyone. Specialising in elevated essentials that are made to last, the label’s range has something to suit every shopper. Pared-back and understated, Chanel's coats defy seasonal trends and will stand the test of time. By taking time to care for your wool, you’ll ensure your item remains in pristine condition for years to come. To keep wool coats in good condition, proper cleaning and maintenance is key. We suggest checking the care label on each garment, as some will be dry clean only, and others hand wash or machine washable. Wool is a soft, natural fiber that can be prone to shrinking if not cared for properly. If your wool item is structured, such as a blazer, suit, or coat, then we recommend to spot clean. Hand washing at a cool temperature is the safest way to clean your wool, or place in a laundry mesh bag on a cold, low-spin cycle if you prefer the machine. Soak for up to half an hour, rinse well and press out any water without wringing. If you want to use the machine, make sure the item is turned inside out first, place in a mesh laundry bag and ensure a low-spin, cold-water cycle is selected. The heat from the tumble dryer can also shrink your garment, so it is best to lay wool flat and allow to air dry away from sunlight and radiators. Hang woven wool garments on padded hangers, and fold knitted pieces away in drawers. Pilling may occur after the first few wears, and this can be gently removed with a pilling comb.
