Swedish brand Cheap Monday originally began in 2000 by Örjan Andersson and Adam Friberg, as a small second-hand clothing store, in a suburb of Stockholm. What started as a store only open at weekends became a full-time concept stocking high-fashion and exclusive denim brands. The duo teamed up with Larsse Karlsson and soon realised the need for a cheaper but fashionable denim brand, and in 2004 the first Cheap Monday jean style, the super-stretch, skinny fit 'Tight' was born. The brand has since gone from strength to strength, and is now part of the H&M empire, with stores all-over the world. The Cheap Monday beachwear collection makes hanging out by the pool or sunbathing on the beach a stylish event.
