Fitflop uses only high quality materials for its flats, such as wool, ensuring each piece looks as good as it feels. Fitflop is renowned for creating highly wearable, well-made flats. The label is committed to delivering pieces that are not only expertly crafted, but look good and are fully functional, too. Providing an easy way to give your wardrobe an instant update, Fitflop's pieces can be worn occasion after occasion and will never feel dated. High-quality pieces that are made from wool require a little care and maintenance to keep them looking their best. To ensure wool remains in perfect condition for years to come, we advise checking each item’s care label before cleaning, with most pieces dry clean only, hand wash or machine washable. One of the worst things you can do to wool garments is to wash them in hot water or tumble dry, as high temperatures can cause the fabric to shrink quickly. Most wool clothing can also be dry cleaned safely. Most wool is washable, with the main exception of structured pieces like suits, jackets and blazers, which are best spot cleaned. When washing, use a gentle detergent that is specially designed for wool, turn inside out and always use a delicate cycle on the machine that has a temperature of 30°C or less. To reduce the risk of shrinkage, soak your wool item in cold water before machine washing. Smooth to reshape, and lay flat to dry naturally. To ensure a silky, smooth appearance to your wool garment, iron inside-out on a low temperature setting, ideally when it is still damp. Discover our wide selection of Fitflop flats.
