Lanvin was founded by Jeanne Lanvin in 1889 and has always been an inherently feminine fashion house, often recognised by its signature techniques of ruching and draping materials. Current Creative Director Alber Elbaz carries on the theme to this day and loves to adorn his Lanvin womenswear creations with ribbons and bows.
