Now in the hands of Creative Director Sarah Burton, the brand's vision is distilled, building on the irreverence and extravagance of the Alexander McQueen label and offering a more relaxed, raw interpretation of the house codes. With a blueprint inspired by street culture, uniform and military details, McQ juxtaposes classic sartorial style with elements taken from ever-evolving style tribes, as well as the British art and music scenes. Reimagining core wardrobe staples with elaborate illustrations, embroidery and detail, functional pieces are given an artful edge.
