Combining fashion with function, it’s no wonder Givenchy's men's coats are so covetable. Crafted using materials such as wool and demonstrating a pared-back aesthetic, the brand’s line of coats is perfect for coordinating with a whole host of outfits. The label merges functional, comfortable qualities with its signature design aesthetic to create pieces that will work for a range of occasions. Effortlessly cool and well-crafted – Givenchy's coats deserve a place in every wardrobe. Wool items are a great investment, and it pays to care for them properly. Well cared for wool coats will last longer, we advise checking the instructions on the care label before attempting to clean. The first step in taking proper care of wool garments is to always turn inside out before washing, which will help slow down any pilling or wear of the fabric. If your wool item is structured, such as a blazer, suit, or coat, then we recommend to spot clean. When you hand wash, make sure you use a gentle, low-alkaline detergent and cool water. Press out the excess water, but do not wring the wool item to prevent the fabric from stretching. Soak for up to half an hour, rinse well and press out any water without wringing. If you want to use the machine, make sure the item is turned inside out first, place in a mesh laundry bag and ensure a low-spin, cold-water cycle is selected. Allow to dry naturally, away from radiators and direct sunlight. Hang woven wool garments on padded hangers, and fold knitted pieces away in drawers. If pilling occurs after wearing, carefully remove with a fabric comb. Discover our selection of designer coats for men and shop new-season and sale pieces now.
