Give your coats collection an instant upgrade with on-trend additions from Paul & Shark. Paul & Shark takes particular care in sourcing the finest materials for its range of coats, so expect pieces made from wool. Specialising in elevated essentials that are made to last, the label’s range has something to suit every shopper. Each collection focuses on staple pieces which deliver on both style and versatility, and are sure to become a mainstay in your wardrobe. By taking time to care for your wool, you’ll ensure your item remains in pristine condition for years to come. Before attempting to clean wool, we would advise checking what is specified on the item’s care label, knitwear will be dry clean only, hand wash or machine washable on a delicate cycle. The first step in taking proper care of wool garments is to always turn inside out before washing, which will help slow down any pilling or wear of the fabric. Some wool pieces, such as a suit, blazer or coat, would benefit from spot cleaning. Some wool is suitable for machine washing, once it has been turned inside out and put on a 30°C gentle cycle. Soak for up to half an hour, rinse well and press out any water without wringing. If you want to use the machine, make sure the item is turned inside out first, place in a mesh laundry bag and ensure a low-spin, cold-water cycle is selected. Lay flat to air dry, and do not put it in the dryer. To remove wrinkles, steam or iron on a low-heat setting with a pressing cloth between the wool and the fabric.
