The highly influential Belgian designer Raf Simons launched his first menswear line from Antwerp in 1995. With his roots originally in furniture design, Simons went on to become creative director of Jil Sandler and carve out his own reputation for flawless tailoring, austere minimalism and playful inspiration drawn from music, art and youth subcultures. Raf Simons sweats combine a futuristic quality with the relaxed, laid-back nature of sweatshirts and joggers.
