WOOYOUNGMI Trainers for Men

The first designer to create mens ready-to-wear in Korea, Woo Youngmi distanced itself from the conservative style tropes of the time with the launch of her namesake label in 2002. Inspired by her vision of the ideal man, Youngmi introduced a refined nonchalance to classic menswear staples. With the addition of Youngmi’s daughter, Katie Chung, as joint creative director in 2014, the Wooyoungmi muse flourished into a contemporary urbanite with multifaceted pursuits. Highlights in the label's edit of sneakers reveal high and low-top designs set on a chunky vibram sole, in black and white and featuring the brand's logo printed on the leather exterior, alongside utility style sandal sneakers for a modern feel.
