Roberto Cavalli was always destined for creativity - born in 1940 in Florence, Italy to a seamstress mother, his grandfather was also an well-known impressionist painter. Showing his first collection of printed leather dresses in 1970 and opening a boutique in Saint Tropez in 1972, the brand became commercially successful in the 80's, when the designer's lavish designs were more in-keeping with the flamboyance of the time. Now the brand encompasses a full range of accessories and shoes. Cavalli's trainers are as intricately embellished and detailed as his clothing. Coming in leopard print, metallic crocodile-effect leather and scored with silver studs, they're real statement pieces. Shop the high-tops, wedge trainers and low-tops here.
