Rosie Assoulin's passion for crafting clothing is the result of years sat at her grandmother's sewing machine. Beginning her foray into fashion at thirteen years old, Assoulin used design as a means of exploring her identity. After training with Oscar de la Renta in New York and Alber Elbaz at Lanvin in Paris, Assoulin left to start her own label. The designer creates dresses with couture-like proportions with vibrant hues and sporty accents. Controlled volume, relaxed silhouettes and easy, fluid lines are core to her aesthetic. With the finest materials, from sumptuous silk to Italian wool; velvets and super-soft cotton, her range of cocktail dresses, gowns and shirt dresses are crafted with hand-finished detailing.
