Thom Browne moved to New York in 1997 to take up a job as a salesman in Giorgio Armani's showroom, followed by a long stint with Ralph Lauren's contemporary label, Club Monaco before launching his namesake label in 2003. Beginning as a made-to-measure men's tailoring shop, Thom Browne now encompasses a full men's ready-to-wear collection and most recently, a women's line featuring directional looks that are filled with theatrical flair. Taking borrowed-from-the-boys styling, Thom Browne's collection of flats features androgynous brogues and loafers in luxurious leathers and exotic skins, updated with flashes of colour and metallic details.
