Founded by Japanese fashion designer Rei Kawakubo in 1973, the Comme des Garçons (like boys) label made a name for itself with its range of distressed, worn-in glamour in subdued monochrome and artistically draped shapes and styles. The PLAY line came later packaged as a collection of urban, relaxed streetwear characterized by Filip Pagowski’s signature red heart logo. Blending simplicity with wearable, the collection features soft jerseys in subtle prints and well-cut t-shirts for men and women.
