Women's White Spiny Oyster And Lapis Mosaic Inlay Pendant Necklace On Leather Cord

This mosaic inlay pendant sets chips of spiny oyster shell, turquoise and lapis side by side inside a sterling silver frame. Orange sits against blue with a thin line of purple, and the pattern is laid by hand, so no two panels land the same way. The pendant is a rectangular panel with softly rounded corners, about 1. 25 inches across, with the inlay running edge to edge. It hangs from a sterling silver bail on a black leather cord in a short or long length, each with a two inch extender and a lobster clasp. Spiny oyster grows its shell orange to deep red in the Gulf of California. Turquoise forms where copper-bearing water works through rock, and lapis takes its blue from lazurite. The piece pictured is the one that arrives. It is nickel-free and lead-free. Keep the necklace dry and remove it before contact with water, perfume, lotion or oils. Keep the inlay away from ultrasonic cleaners. Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth after wearing and store it flat, apart from harder pieces. Sterling silver darkens over time, and a silver polishing cloth brings it back, but keep the cloth off the inlay. Colour: white
